Gran éxito de la XX Edición del curso «Biotechnology Explorer» para profesores de secundaria.
With a full classroom and tremendous enthusiasm, participants in the 20th edition of the Biotechnology Explorer course have enjoyed a rich and stimulating program. Teachers attended engaging lectures on viruses, the search for new antibiotics, genetically modified organisms, modern gene-editing strategies, and the use of fluorescent proteins in biotechnology research.
In addition to the theoretical sessions, participants carried out hands-on laboratory activities specifically designed to be easily implemented in secondary schools. These practical experiences aim to bring cutting-edge biotechnology into the classroom and foster students’ interest, curiosity, and motivation for science. The course once again proved to be an excellent platform for connecting advanced molecular biology with science education at the secondary-school level.
